How Pay Works:
Origination vs. Peer Review
Each work unit has a base value shown in the terms per job. That value is split between the user who originally records the data and the user who verifies its accuracy. The originator’s share is 100% less a penalty for errors, but never less than 50%. Between 98% and 100% accuracy, each percent of error is worth 10% of the base rate. Below 98%, each percent is worth 5%. The share is calculated per job per day. Peer reviewers get a small piece rate in addition to the share they keep for correcting errors.
Example
If you the base value of a block of work is $100, your share would be as follows:
92% accuracy: $50.00
94% accuracy: $60.00
96% accuracy: $70.00
98% accuracy: $80.00
You won’t get paid for tags if…
- tags should not have been entered in the first place, because the line is blank or crossed out,
- the file should have flagged instead of worked on,
- signatures were skipped over, and the file had to be reset for original processing, or
- overtly bogus queries or tags.
When you get paid
During peak season, every Friday for all work performed the prior calendar week.
